Icona Pop crashed their car into a bridge while driving from O’Hare International Airport to the A&O concert in downtown Chicago Friday afternoon. The car immediately burst into flames killing 12 including three children and injuring another 13 that remain in critical condition. Icona Pop was not harmed. Law enforcement has reason to believe the pop duo was under the influence of narcotics.

Witnesses report they were shouting “You’re from the 70s” repeatedly at bystanders before screaming in unison, “But I’m a 90s bitch” and fleeing the scene.

Officer Bill Benson with Chicago PD held a press conference this afternoon. “They threw my shit into a bag and threw it down the stairs,” Officer Benson said. “They crashed their car into a bridge. They watched. They let it burn. In all my years on the force I have never seen two more disrespectful, belligerent, uncontrollable citizens,” said Benson’s partner Joe Williams.

Lawyers of the widely popular Swedish punk band claim their clients had right of way as the bridge was on a different road and Icona Pop was in the Milky Way. Icona Pop member Aino Jawo did not show up to her court hearing but did issue the statement

“You’re so damn hard to please. We gotta kill the switch.”

When asked of the victims families and millions in damages, the singer merely responded

“I don’t care. I love it.”
