New MARS Member Finally Gets What Women Have Been Telling Him For Months After Hearing It From Men

EVANSTON, IL - After attending his first MARS meeting, freshman Will Nagivhed felt enlightened and empowered having finally learned from men what women have been telling him for months now.

“These guys really opened my eyes to how difficult being a woman is,” said Nagivhed, whose high school girlfriend made a full length documentary about rape culture that he declined to watch. “I never realized that this is everyone’s problem, until now.”

Will Nagivhed’s fraternity brother Jeff Brawnstein, a senior member of MARS, said he was really impressed with the thought and care that Will brought to the table. “We really got through to him that this isn’t just about one man or one fraternity,” Brawnstein said. “Even though most of us aren’t doing anything wrong at all and are stand-up dudes, we still have work to do.”

Will Nagivhed joined MARS with 12 other new members, and is very excited to get to work on campus. “During training I realized that I have sisters. And a mom. Every girl is some man’s daughter, you know?” Nagivhed said. “That’s why we should care more. I can’t wait to end rape culture on campus this year with my boys.”
