A&O Accidentally Books Jeffery Tambor Instead of Young Thug for Blowout

All this week, Northwestern students have been absolutely “LIT” after the announcement of the annual A&O Blowout headliner: rapper Young Thug.

Or so they thought. Just this afternoon, A&O released an official apology. It reads as follows:

To the students of Northwestern:

We are deeply sorry. Earlier this week we announced that Young Thug would be headlining A&O blowout. However, we have, only too late, realized we made a huge mistake. In trying to book Young Thug, we accidentally booked two-Emmy win and star of Amazon’s Transparent, Jeffery Tambor.

Our Apologies,

A&O Productions.

Samantha Wilder, a Medill Junior and representative for A&O said that though this sounds like a ridiculous and unbelievable error, trying to contact Young Thug was “extremely confusing.” “Young Thug has said that his latest mixtape, Jeffery, is not a Young Thug album, but a Jeffery album,” Wilder continues. “And, even though everyone at A&O is extremely dope and hella connected, we made the mistake of hiring Jeffery Tambor, who happens to have the same agent as Young Thug at CAA.”

Although, A&O has tried to fix the mistake, Mr. Tambor has already been paid and Young Thug is far too busy gambling. However, Mr. Tambor emailed A&O with excitement for tomorrow’s program, saying, “It’s not the first time I’ve been hired to represent someone that I probably have no business representing, so it should be fine. Also, I love Thugger and I am happy to fill in!”
