Bill Murray Hilariously Crashes Funeral Service

BETHESDA, Md. – Bill Murray has done it again.

After uproariously crashing a couple’s engagement photo shoot, as well as crashing a bachelor’s party in Charleston, Bill Murray has once again proved why he’s a comic legend. The setting this time? The funeral of Mr. Clarence McKinley, who unexpectedly died of a heart attack on June 2. He was 55.

The procession started just like any other, McKinley’s daughter, Jessica, 23, noted.

“So I was just sitting in the pew, minding my own business, trying to piece together what cruel design of fate would dictate I had to lose my dad so suddenly; when all of a sudden, I hear someone in the back yelling ‘How horrible!’ and ‘Gone too soon!’ I look back, and then I realize, ‘holy [crap], that’s the guy from Groundhog Day!”

After not being invited to give a eulogy for Mr. McKinley, who is survived not only by Jessica, but also by his son Peter, 19, and his wife Barbara, 51, the Caddyshack star decided to take matters into his own hands and step up to the pulpit himself – and delivered a speech that had the St. Paul’s Cathedral of Bethesda in tears (both of sadness and laughter!)

“You know, death sometimes is just really [messed] up,” said the original Saturday Night Live cast member. “It comes out of nowhere, and it really just bites you in the ass, you know? But I say, if death happens, you just sorta do it, you know? Because honestly, funerals aren’t for the dead guy, they’re for the living.

“So, congrats to you guys, I guess.”

Murray was unfortunately not able to be reached for comment after the funeral’s conclusion, but word has it that he has his sights set on crashing a local teen's first successful attempt to reach orgasm from masturbating.
