via www.collegeflagsandbanners.com High School senior Owen Webb achieved a rare accomplishment last Friday: being rejected by all eight Ivy League schools.

“Everyone was excited and surprised,” he said of the news. “Mostly by the fact that I even applied to these highly competitive schools at all.”

Webb, 17, who rarely participates in class and usually sits in the second-to-back row, has a 3.4 GPA and got a 26 on the ACT. His high school resume spans from attending six summers of sleepaway camp to an impressive year of elementary Spanish in which he mastered 85% of the words to a Juanes song.

In addition to his course work, Webb played C team tennis his freshman year, and Grand Theft Auto IV most days after school.

Principal Victoria Harris calls Webb a “young man.”

Passionate about his future, while some teens might say they want to be a movie star or a pop singer when they grow up, Webb says, “I dunno.”

Webb now has a tough decision ahead of him in deciding where to go, since he did not apply to any other colleges.
